O’Galop’s house

The painter and watercolourist Marius Rossillon, known as O’Galop and famous for drawing Michelin’s Bibendum, lived in this house in the medieval village of Beynac-et-Cazenac. It has kept all its charm and authenticity; his name is still carved into the stone by the door.

Carefully renovated, it is rented as a whole and sleeps up to five. From the garden and the bedrooms, the view stretches over the Dordogne winding below and the neighbouring castles.

Kitchen and living room

On the ground floor, the fitted kitchen, set against a wall of golden stone, opens onto the dining table and the living room. A separate toilet is next to the kitchen.

The house has been furnished and equipped to combine modern comfort with the character of an old Périgord Noir house. All bedrooms are air-conditioned.

A garden above the Dordogne

The private garden overlooks the river: lie back in a deckchair under the vine arbour and take in the panorama.

The terrace, with its table and barbecue, is made for lunches and dinners outdoors by the water.
